Prepurchase Examinations

Before purchasing a horse, we advise that you have it assessed by a veterinarian that is experienced in examining performance horses. How the examination takes place and how much time is involved depends on some different variables. Most of the time, we would at least do a full clinical examination of the horse, including gait assessment and flexion tests of the legs.

Depending on specific requirements, other diagnostic tools can be added to the examination, i.e. endoscopy, X-rays, ultrasound imaging etc.

Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
